Vintage 50 Fathoms are a controversial issue...
due to the increased interest from the collectors world. Since the movement are rather standard ones, fakes and marriages appear frequently.
I'd therefore be rather cautious buying them online, as it is nearly impossible to verify the authenticity of vintage pieces without direct inspection. Therefore, I would hesitate buying such a watch without a return policy.
You can always send a watch to Blancpain to get it authentified.
