Pierre-Nicolas, I see your point...

but i get the feeling that your enjoyment of a watch is to a large extend determined by the image of a watch with other people.

However, you raise a highly important point, and that is how the company stands behind their products and supports their customers. I agree with you that the company lacks some punch here, and particularly, a clear focus on activities.

But at this time I do not see a clear direction as to where Blancpain is heading. without this, you cannot market properly, and also you cannot develop your product portfolio seriously. As a point in case, I think the new all black and all white and the other colour versions of the 50 Fathoms are a clear indication of this phenomenon. I firmly believe, that with a proper long-term view, such watches would not see the light (at least not that close to the successful launch of the original 50 Fathoms).

But I have the initial feeling, just from a few discussions I had with Marc Hayek, that we will see something impressive in the years to come.

Cheers,
Magnus

Does it bother you that Blancpain has no 'instant classic' yet?
