Excellent question Magnus.
Although some models have indeed the potential to become classics as Oliver pinpointed, Blancpain still remains known from Connoisseurs only. It's fine indeed but impacts the resale value and of course the image you get of yourself (that's in part why I decided to switch to Patek).
For me everything is a matter of marketing (I mean marketing, NOT advertisement).
Does Blancpain take care of customer experience through a real and deep allocation of ressources and money ?
What does actually YOUR Blancpain experience consist in ?
Those are the questions our fellow members may want to answer and for the lucky ones who have more than one brand, just compare with Patek or Rolex.
In my work with my own customers I've been more and more emphasizing the importance of brand experience over the past few years. And it pays !
Maybe Blancpain should do the same and go back to the roots of marketing : listening to customers !
