It looks like something blocks the rotor or the winding train...

the latter looks more plausible.

One reason could be very simple: the watch might have been produced some time ago, and the lubricants are dry meanwhile. Debris now block the winding train.

This is not a defect, nor a typical Blancpain issue. It might happen with any mechanical watch of any make. In this case, the movement needs to be cleaned and re-lubricated.

Of course, this should be done under warranty.
