Hope Magnus is able to find some info about your square Blancpain. I also have a square Blancpain with a movement that looks similar to yours (except mine has a sub-second hand - see attached photo). Magnus and the other folks at Blancpain tried very hard but but were unable to come up with anything definitive. I did discover from a collector here in Canada that the movement was probably manufactured in the early 40's and the dial (which is different from yours) is likely not original. Good luck with your quest for info.
