Interesting question and not easy to answer ...

Plus: Offers a lot of understatement, because most people have no idea about the price of my watches from Blancpain and when you see somebody with a Blancpain on the wrist it quite often means really nice people and not (only) MeeToo people, fashion victims, ...

Minus: I think some watches have had the potential to get a serious "classic" (Villeret Moonphase, Leman Flyback, ...), but finally they never reached the goal in the long run. Why? Difficult to say, but I will try with care:

In the past there have been times with quality problems (e.g. more unpleasant extra work for the sales people), to many variants (e.g. also for the dealers and sales people), lack of targeted marketing, ... .

Today, I have (sometimes) the impression of disorientation when I think about the offered designs of the Leman series, sometimes "clumsy" marketing activities (e.g. still 2007 novelties at the website, 4213-3442 released 2006 and still no chance to find it on the website), ...

Don´t get me wrong, I´m still a big admirer of the brand. Blancpain has a lot of potential, but they should focus on clear targets - now.

Does it bother you that Blancpain has no 'instant classic' yet?
